Masthead will be spotlighting 5 events that we’re planning to attend in the city every month! Hope to see you at some of them 🙂

OCAD’s annual graduation exhibition is always worth checking out, especially if you want to keep an eye out on emerging artists in Toronto. Running for four days from May 4-8, the event is free and hosted on campus at 100 McCaul St, jam-packed with graduating projects from OCADU’s class of 2016.

We’re super excited about the opening of this space focused on showing disability arts and advancing accessibility initiatives and practices. Housed in 401 Richmond, the TAG’s first exhibition features the mixed media wood carvings of Persimmon Blackbridge, opening May 4th, but running till July 6th!

The festival itself is hosted in the Toronto Reference Library over the May 14-15 weekend, but there are a variety of events occurring before, during and after featuring comic artists in locations all over Toronto. We’re particularly excited for Gene Luen Yang’s arrival 🙂 Head to the TCAF’s official website for a full line-up of events.
